BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a way of managing a project through a shared digital model that includes both geometry and data. It helps teams coordinate, quantify, and make decisions based on reliable information, not just drawings.
A BIM object is a digital product representation that includes 3D geometry plus key data such as dimensions, technical properties, performance data, and product information. This allows it to be used for coordination, quantity takeoff (QTO), and documentation.
BIMODEL helps project teams access project-ready BIM content faster and helps manufacturers publish product content in a way that is structured, usable, and easier to integrate into real projects.
BIM workflows usually require multi-format content. BIMODEL is built around supporting common industry needs (e.g., Revit, IFC, SketchUp), and supported formats may vary depending on the content package.
